**Seawall tournament open to kids 3 years old to 16 years old

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

10am: Gates Open
11am to 11:45am: Heat 1
12pm to 12:45pm: Heat 2
1pm to 3pm: Tournament Awards & Raffle

RULES:
*Must fish from designated tournament areas only – no fishing from a boat or kayak
*Sabiki rigs are not allowed to be used during the event
*This is a catch & release tournament
*Points are given to each species caught. Winner is determined by the most amount of points.
(Pin Fish/Grunts – 1 point, Catfish – 2 points, Snapper – 3 points, Grouper – 4 points, Sheepshead – 5 points, All Other – 6 points)
*Trophies are given to 1st thru 3rd Place for each age group for each heat.
*Participants are only eligible to win 1 trophy. If that child wins more than 1 heat, then the child with the next highest # of points will win.
*The tournament supplies frozen bait for free to all the children. Participants are allowed to use live bait that they purchase if so desired
*Children must be accompanied by an adult during the entire fishing tournament

***Parents are encourage to help their children as needed during the tournament, but if a parent is fishing and solely hooks and reels the fish in on their own with no attempt from the child to participate, that fish will not be counted towards their child’s points.

RAFFLE INFORMATION:

* Every participating child will receive 1 free raffle ticket tomorrow.

* While we try to make sure every child goes home with an item from our free raffle, having such a large # of children we cannot guarantee a prize for every child.

* With so many kids and so many toys we ask that you do not come up to the stage asking if your child can trade their prize out. If we do for one, we have to do for all and this would cause a logistical nightmare as we try to get through the raffle.

* If your child is unhappy with their prize they are more than welcome to ask another child if they would like to exchange or they can donate their prize to Santa’s Angels, who will be onsite collecting toys for children less fortunate.
* Must be present to win
